October 7, 2002 - St. Nicks (1-1-0) got off to a strong start on Saturday against the Fairfield University Stags, scoring four times in the first period, and never looked back on its way to a 7-3 victory. Jeff Brow led the Nicks by scoring a hat trick. On Friday night, the story was just the opposite, as St. Nicks came out flat and was behind 3-0 at the end of the first period. In the second period, the Nicks fought back and cut the deficit to 3-2, but a fast and hungry Sacred Heart team responded with five unanswered goals to secure its win. St. Nicks is back on the ice next weekend against the Bentley College Falcons and American International College Yellow Jackets.
