TRINITY ENDS ST. NICKS STREAK

November 18, 2002 - St. Nicks (3-2-0) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead against the Trinity College Bantams on Saturday night, looking to continue its three game winning streak, but Trinity scored twice late in the period to even the score. In the second period, Trinity scored two more unanswered goals before St. Nicks scored a late goal of its own to keep the game close. The teams again traded goals several times early in the third period and then Trinity's young legs prevailed over a tiring St. Nicks squad, scoring three goals in a three minute span in the second half of the final period on the way to a 9-6 victory. St. Nicks will look to get back on the winning track against the Army Black Nights on December 29.
