SENIOR ST. NICKS WIN 4th NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 5 YEARS

April, 2001 - The St. Nicks Hockey Club competed in its first 40 and Over National Chamionship in Ellenton, Florida. The team comprised of St. Nicks Alumni won all five of its games, including a decisive 10 - 2 win in the finals against Metro Mortgage of Michigan. With a powerful offense, solid defense and steady goaltending, St. Nicks was able to continue its strong play in National Tournaments. The alums won the 35 and Over bracket in 1997, 1998 and 1999. After taking a year off from national tournaments, the "Old Men" of St. Nicks resurrected their winning ways and proved that they are still a force in senior hockey.
